Observer noted a meteor like object, but was much wider. The object formed a 180 degree arc which was visible for only an instant. Object was compared with a small rainbow that was traveling toward the north. When the object disappeared, it did so totally, leaving no discernable trail. The color was speckled like stardust construction material (dull gold) and little or no space between the speckles. The object did not look like any meteors or shooting stars that the witness had seen before this sighting.
