Initially it was planned that by the end of fiscal year 1982 a demonstration of the applicability of remote viewing to intelligence problems would be held. The following fiscal year, 1983, would be concerned with solving any additional problems and integrating the remote viewing ability into the defense intelligence arena. Despite the setbacks, thus far, the original goals and dates have not been altered. However, upon review of the work done and work to be done, it appears that, because of the setbacks, it would not be in the best interest of the program to adhere to the dates, milestones, and goals presently set. Therefore, instead of holding the demonstration of remote viewing and its value to the intelligence community at the end of FY 1982 it is rescheduled for mid-year of FY 1983. This additional time will allow many of the difficulties imposed by the funding problems to be corrected. None of the other tasks in the Statement of Work will be altered.
