1. (FOUO) On 29 September 1982, from 1700-1800 hours, a GRILL FLAME information briefing was presented to The Honorable Clairborne Pell, Senator, Rhode Island in his office at US Capitol. Briefing was arranged by Dr. Jack Vorona,, Assistant Vice Director for Scientific & Technical Intelligence, and concurred in by CG, INSCOM and ACSI, DA. Although Senator Pell had invited 8 members of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (SSCI) to attend the briefing none were present. Attendees were:
