Observed thru binoculars. Brilliant white, occasionally red & green. Initial observation at 40-5 deg elev 90 deg azimuth, w/ disappearance at 10 deg elev 100 deg azimuth. 11. COMMENTS Obj had characteristics of astronomical body; however, fn report obj was moving the wrong way & descending. Follow up indicated that the witness had verified the obj as the evening star. Jupiter was at 10 deg elev 100 deg azimuth but was moving to the SE & rising. Evaluated as planet Jupiter. ATIC FORM 329 (REV 26 SEP 52)
