LENGTH OF OBSERVATION 7 sec 8. NUMBER OF OBJECTS one 9. COURSE N then NW 10. BRIEF SUMMARY OF SIGHTING Yellow and light blue object (top part seemed yellow; front and bottom were blue.). Object was a little smaller than the Echo satellite. When first observed it seemed to turn slightly to its left. Then it turned to its left and picked up speed. It passed between the first and second stars on the handle of the Big Dipper. It seemed to rise gracefully. It then went into a cloud and lost its brightness and seemed to turn into a small bluish white dot. 11. COMMENTS This case is classed insufficient data. However, the characteristics and general description indicate that the object sighted was a balloon. No confirming dat at this time. 12.
