1) Round, bright flash of light. Objs through thin overcast. Described as going "straight down" other observers also saw object.
2) Shape of light bulb. Larger than jet fighter with a white phosphor- ous glow. No sound. Originally at high altitude, then dropped to 40 feet altitude.
